Using The Stamina Ab Hyper Bench For A Total Ab Workout

One of the great things about this Ab bench is that it can be used for a total ab workout. You can do traditional sit ups and crunches, but if you want to make that more intense, all you need to do is to adjust the bench. Choose one of three different inclines. The lower the incline, the greater gravity acts to resist your movement, making it harder...and more effective.

To hit your lower abs. All you need to do is to set the decline of the bench, or keep it flat if you're a beginner. Then sit backwards on the bench, with your feet up on the bench and your knees bent. Grab the support handles with your hands, then, while keeping your torso upright, extend your legs outward. You should feel this in your lower abs.

When you want to hit your lower back, you simply need to use the hyper extension part of the equipment. To get a more intense workout, you can grab added weight and hold it at your chest. This will add resistance and it will help increase your strength.

Depending on your level of fitness, you should do anywhere from 2-4 sets of these exercises. Try shooting for repetitions.

Proper Ab Cruncher Form Video


I came across this video on how to properly use an ab cruncher machine. Not only does this give you a good look at proper form for the traditional ab exercise, the crunch, she also does a good job demonstrating how to hit your oblique muscles as well.
